It has been a month since the grand opening of Our Little Smarties. I’ve a little announcement to make today. Our Little Smarties ranks #5 on Yahoo Singapore for DIY flash cards. Hooray!
I squeaked with delight when I saw this:
Two weeks ago, I submitted my site to Yahoo and Google. So, I bet the spiders from these search engines visited and indexed my site. It’s a great way to drive traffic to my blog.
I truly enjoy blogging in Wordpress. I like its user-friendliness and awesome plug-ins. Most importantly, in self-hosting, I no longer worry about my blog disappearing one day. If you are interested to blog in Wordpress too, you’ll have all my support. Go for it! You will never regret it.
When you first started with Wordpress, it can be a daunting task just to find a suitable theme for your blog. Wordpress has hundreds of nice free themes under its theme directory.
In addition, there are thousands of free themes scattered throughout the web. All you have to do is a Google search for “free wordpress themes”. If you have some budget, you can buy a professional theme easily.
I’ll continue to write more interesting posts; hopefully Our Little Smarties can become one of the favourite motherhood blogs in Singapore.
