The magazine-style theme is not new, but it is gaining popularity in blogosphere nowadays.
Magazine-style theme is a special type of a blog design which organizes content on the front page using excerpts, headlines and categories to give the visitor an overall glimpse of an entire website.
There are a few main advantages of magazine-style theme. First of all, for a blogger, we can select and feature attractive contents to be displayed on our blog using the featured area. We can add other areas like gallery on our blog. Most importantly, a blog with a magazine-style looks very neat and organized.
I’m tempted to change to a magazine-style theme too. Hopefully I have some time to work out a new theme on my blog this weekend. Another sea of work again, haiz.
