Toy Universe at Takashimaya

It has been a busy week and I wasn’t in the pinkest of health. Since the flu virus attack last week, I still feel sick with on and off sinus problem at night and poor quality sleep. Most of the time, I woke up in the morning with my head spinning and my ear ringing.

Anyway – I’m feeling much better today. I woke up full of energy. TGIF! I have a list of tasks to accomplish.

Yesterday, I took half day off in the afternoon for my dental appointment. After visiting my dentist, I went shopping at Orchard with my Hubby. Much to my surprise, there is actually a toy sale at Takashimaya. Located at Takashimaya Square (B2), Toy Universe just started yesterday and it will be opened till 14 June 09.

Toy Universe

I saw heaps of toys and children clothings. The crowd was moderate, maybe because it was a weekday and the first day of sale. Unlike the Mattel toy sale, I don’t see much Fisher Price, Leapfrog or VTech toys here. But still, there are a lot of other interesting toys that you can get (very cheap too!)

Some of the interesting stuff that I’ve spotted:

Art Desk

This multifunctional 4-in-1 art desk at only $29.90. It’s a drawing board with magnetic letters; it can be folded into a mini-desk. I bought one for little Edison.

Kitchen Playset

Kitchen Playset at only $29.90! *Too Irresistible* But Hubby has strong objection to buy this pink kitchen playset for our son.  Too girlish, he claimed. At the end, I dropped it from my list.

LEGO

Fans of LEGO, you’ll find what you want here.

Golf Set

Children Golf Set at only $14.90

Besides the Toy Universe, there is a 20% storewide sale at the children’s section too. I bought a yummy Play-Doh meal making kitchen set for only $27 after discount. I’ll definitely be making my second trip to this toy sale before it ends on 14 June.

So, are you going there this weekend? 🙂

      Hi Vivian,
When I was there last Thursday, there are more than 10 sets there. Since the sale is opened till 14 Jun, I believe they will have plenty of stocks..

Yeah, the table is great. I opened it up this morning, and my little boy was busy whole morning writing on the board..
