Hi Mico,
Nope, but I intend to enroll him for some enrichment class next year. Maybe Chinese or Phonics class. Not sure yet.

Hi Doreen,
My boy started SM at 10 months old. At a start, it was difficult to keep him seated throughout the lesson. After 2 terms, he can finally sit still and pay attention. He has a classmate who is able to sit still thoughout the lesson since he started the program. He is also the same age as my boy. So, I guess every kids are different.

Personally, I think that 18 months is the best time to start. But SM always stresses that the younger the better as their learning capability is stronger. It's up to our individual judgement actually. At a younger age, they learn faster. But it's also difficult to keep them still and concentrate in the class.

For children below 1 y/o, they do photographic memory, flash cards, music play, finger training, ESP etc.

My son has attended the class for 2 yrs since he was 2. I personally thinks it helps his picture memory. Thus could identify things (the difference) very well. This also helps him in his language class.

Now i've a new bornm, 2 months old bb, and contemplating when to start him with the class. Anyone start their child before 1 yrs? What do they do at such early years? can u share?

How many terms liao? I suggest you continue one more term and observe... by 2nd or 3rd term, usually the kids will start to pay attention...
