A handmade gift from a child is always the most appreciated Mother’s Day gift. I received my first ever Mother’s Day gift this week – it’s a paper flower made by my three-year-old son, Edison.
His teacher taught him how to make the flower with colored papers and straw. On the leaf, there are some Chinese words printed on it, that says “Mommy, Happy Mother’s Day!”
It was slightly out-of-shape now, after being crushed by the water bottle in his schoolbag. Nonetheless, it is still the most BEAUTIFUL flower in my heart. I’m keeping this flower in my car so that I can ‘smell’ it everyday.
