New Theme

Yay! Finally a brand new look.

After a sleepless night and many brain cells being killed in the process, I’ve finally installed a brand new theme for OurLittleSmarties. Here we are now – back to a 3-column blogger-style theme!

Suffusion is a beautiful WordPress theme, I fell in love with it the first time I saw it. Simple, yet it can be easily customized to suit the user’s requirements.

The interesting feature about this theme is the featured content slider – a section below the header that flashes the top most recent posts. However, I still can’t get it up and running on my blog. I still need a little more time to fix it.

In addition, I’ve installed the LinkWithin plugin. Again, it doesn’t seem to work well too. Argh, I need to check it out.

There are some bit and pieces that I need to modify this week. I want to update all the pictures in my blog as they are really super outdated. I guess by this weekend, I should be able to complete them. Once and for all (hopefully!)

Anyway, I hope you’ll like this new theme. I’ve an interesting beauty product to share with you tomorrow. Stay tuned!

Hi lady, nice theme you’ve here!

And, I’ve the same problem you had earlier with the slideshow function. so irritation arrrggh..

now that i see it’s working on your blog, how hv you fixed it?? my theme on my scrapbooking still can’t http://www.scrappinlove.com

Hi Rachel,
Are you using Suffusion theme in your scrapbooking blog? If yes, you need to enable the “Featured Content” feature and apply some settings for it appear in the blog. I had a hard time getting it up and adjusting it to the proper height and width. The theme seems to have bug too. It resets to the default options for all my settings twice. I had to redo all over again. I’m glad that it’s over now.
