Everyday Things

Burned Out

I’m feeling really exhausted this week, not because I’ve been staying up late to watch the World Cup, but there are just so much works to do everyday. Another task comes along before I can wrap up the current task.

It’s also due to the school start this week. I’ve to wake up at 6:30am in the morning. Sleep time has been cut down by almost one hour. By the time I finished watching the CH8 drama Precious Babes, I was all drained out. My system is still struggling to start-up at 6:30am in the morning. And it automatically shut down by 10pm. Argh!

After my senior manager’s resignation last month, there is a reshuffle of job responsibilities within our team. I’ve to take over more responsibilities now. This week, we are all tied-up in the handover process. I always welcome new challenges as opportunities to learn and grow. No pain, no gain. Ok?

Well, this also means lesser time for Facebook and MSN. It may be difficult to take long leave too. Sigh.

Anyway, it’s Friday today. Let’s not think too much. Weekend is coming; I need to get some fresh air and more family time.

Have a nice weekend everyone!

      Hi Mico,
Welcome back to workforce! Haha! It takes a while to adapt to the new routine again, but eventually, we will still fit in nicely. 🙂
Btw, do your office have dedicated room for mothers to pump milk? There is no such facility in my office.
Thanks for informing me about the Sesame Street Live. Little Edison is into Dora now, he doesn’t quite like Sesame Street.

      Hi May,
Most of my blog entries are written on weekends. I schedule them to be published on weekdays. It looks like I blog everyday, but in fact, I’m not. Hehe! That’s the wonderful part of WordPress.

      Hi May,
Oh, some of the short posts are written in my office. I steal a few minutes to blog. Haha! A short break in between meetings and works – to destress.
However, most of them are weekend jobs. I schedule the posts to be posted in my blog on certain dates and time. In wordpress, this can be done easily. But I’m not too sure about blogspot.
      Thanks for visiting my blog.
