Everyday Things

Down. Sick.

After a week of fighting against the virus around me, finally I lost the battle. I’m down with flu and fever.

Yesterday morning, I was sneezing and shivering in the office. I thought I can struggle until 6pm and go to see my doctor after work. But in the end, I gave up. My hands were trembling so badly that I couldn’t even type on my computer. I told my boss that I had to leave at 11am to see a doctor.

So, I went to the clinic immediately. I felt like crap all day – sneezing, stuffy nose, trembling hands and fever. It became worse at night as the symptoms start to manifest. I couldn’t sleep peacefully last night. One moment, I was cold. The next moment, I was sweating. I curled up in my comforter and I can hardly move.

I’m feeling much better today. I applied one more day of medical leave so that I can rest at home. The Fenfedrin tablets were my savior; they helped to clear my airways so that I can breathe normally. The fever is gone too.

I hate to be sick. Works are piling up and I couldn’t afford to miss a single day. I don’t want to spread the virus to my family members at home. I need to recover as soon as possible.

It’s time to take my medicine and take a short nap.

    Hi Da Sao

Heard from mum that you are down with a fever and read from your blog that the virus had taken a better hold.

Really hope you get well tomorrow.

Besides taking Vit C 1000mg (timed released), I am also religiously taking Garlic Pearls.

According to studies, garlic contains a potent compound – Allicin. This compound rallies against foreign invaders in our body and is a powerful exterminant towards a wide spectrum of bacteria and virus.

    Da Sao… get well soon

      Hi Ken,
Thanks for your recommendation. I’ll check out the Garlic Pearls on my next visit to GNC. Ven bought quite a lot of vitamin supplements from GNC las month, I need to start taking them religiously.
