Product Review: b.liv Skincare

It has been a very busy week. What is new these days? Sad. 🙁

I have office works to do after Little Edison goes to sleep. By the time I crash into bed, I’m too tired to apply any cream on my face. Thanks to b.liv, my face is still well-behaved despite the lack of maintenance and sleep. 🙂

I’ve been using b.liv products for about one month now. This brand was recommended to me by my dear sister. I must admit that I’m very impressed with the products. If you have oily skin, blackheads or whiteheads problems, this brand will really suits you.

This is the range of products that I’m using now.

And here’s my thoughts about them:

#1: Squeaky Clean

Overview: It is green-tinted, gel-like, non-foamy and smells a little minty. It has fine micro-beads that helps in exfoliation and removal of impurities as well as excess oil.

After Use: I use this cleanser once at night. It makes my skin feels so clean, refreshed and smooth after using. It really lives up to its ‘squeaky clean’ name. Exactly the kind of clean feeling that I’m looking for!

#2: Off with Those Heads

Overview: This is a light cooling gel that removes black/white heads and keeps excess oil secretion under control.

After Use: I apply it on my T-zone and cheek after toner twice a day. Black/white heads reduced significantly after one week but I wouldn’t say that they are completely eliminated. However, the residue stubborn blackheads can be easily removed with gentle squeezing.

T-zone doesn’t feel oily after a whole day at work (even with make-up on). That’s what I really like about this product! It keeps oil secretion at bay. A must try!

#3: Shrink and Tighten (for day use)

Overview: A lightweight serum, slight hazy in color with a mild citrus scent. Filled with collagen, antioxidants and skin cells repairing properties, this serum helps to shrink the pores and calm down skin irritation.

After Use: I’ve been using it for two weeks now. I apply it on my face after Off with Those Heads. It absorbs into the skin effortlessly and it doesn’t feel sticky or oily. I haven’t seen any significant improvement in pore size at the moment. Probably in another two weeks or so, but I will continue using it.

#4: Quench Me

Overview: A super lightweight gel moisturizer in pastel blue. It invigorates and hydrates the skin with a refeshing feeling after each application.

After Use: I really love this product! It’s the most lightweight moisturizer that I’ve ever used to-date! It absorbs easily into the skin without leaving any oily residue. It keeps my skin moisturized all day and it’s good to use before make-up too.

#5: Shrink and Tighten+ (for night use)

Overview: This elixir is slightly yellowish and gives a warm sensation after application. It stimulates collagen production at night which helps tighten pores and regenerate nutrients for firmer and brighter skin complexion

After Use: This is an amazing night care. I apply 2-3 drops at night, a little goes a long way. The next morning, my skin feels firmer and my pores are visibly smaller too.

#6: Glow and Shine

Overview: This is a clay scrub mask with exfoliating beads. It deep cleanses and polishes the skin to bring out its inner glow and shine.

After Use: I use it once a week. This mask removes dead skins, unclogs pores, minimizes pores and gives skin a beautiful glow after using.

My verdict? I think they are worth a try, especially if you have oily skin and/or clogged pores. I would rate them 9/10.

I purchase my b.liv products from their website at http://www.blivskin.com/. They offer free shipping to Singapore. I received my products within 3 working days after I made my payment. They are also available in Sasa.

After reading your comments on b.liv, I am so tempted to try … looking for an alternative brand to Dr’s Secret as they are increasing price (again) next year … getting very expensive to use now. Sigh!

      Hi Jennie,
I find that they are really good, better than Kose Sekkisei Supreme that I was previously using. The price at Sasa is almost the same as buying online, unless Sasa has storewide discount. I prefer to buy online because it’s more convenient, and they give free samples too. 🙂

The items are shipped via DHL. Tracking number will be provided once they ship. And their service is really very fast! 🙂

If order online, need to sign up as member first? What would you recommend for a beginner like me?

      Hi Stevie,
Wow, 20% storewide? I’m not sure if Singapore has it, will check out this weekend. I want to buy the Got Me Covered foundation. I tried the sample, it is quite good. Super oil-free, I like it. The coverage is light, very natural.

nice blog and review post..I am using Bliv too and really impressed by their customer services, ordered via their website and delivery was superb swift. Those of you from S’pore can check out SASA as they were still having the 20% discount after Christmas, hope have not stop this week or else just get them thru website. *One good thing abt ordering thru website is that they will throw in some samples which SASA do not provide. Hope this helps!!!
