Quayside Isle is becoming our favourite weekend hang-out. It makes us very happy to return because the place is very relaxing (good for families with kids), there is a variety of food selection, and we can enjoy a panoramic view of the gorgeous marina.
If this place sounds unfamiliar to you, it is located in the exclusive Sentosa Cove and next to W Hotel. With its unique location and the diversity of the Sentosa Cove community which consists of residents, hotel guests, locals and tourists, you actually don’t feel like you’re in Singapore when you’re here.
These pictures tell you why.
Serenity. Calmness. Breath-taking views. No heavy traffic. No crowd. No high-rise building.
That’s all I want for a peaceful weekend!
Best of all, there are ample parking space and the parking rate is only $3.50 (per entry) before 1am daily – including weekends and public holidays.
Little Edison likes to come here with his scooter, and he can scoot wherever he likes. Free as a bird.
We tried out Brussels Sprouts last weekend as recommended by my friend. They have Kids Eat Free promotion on weekends (one kid dines free with every adult main course purchased). The free kid’s meal also comes with a single scoop ice-cream and free flow of soft drinks.
Truth be told, we came here mainly for the playground. The boy is crazily in love with the huge playground next to the restaurant. Every time he comes here, he gets to play with children from different nationalities.
But don’t get me wrong, the food here is quite nice too. Here’s what we ordered last weekend. The sausages are yummy, and the grilled pork belly is superb (though a bit too sinful!).
The weather has been very windy recently, and it’s so much fun to play here. While the boy is enjoying himself, V and I relax with a cuppa.
We will be back again for sure. For the fun. For the food. For everything.
