Places We Love at Changi Airport

June 29, 2010February 26, 2011

Last month, I wrote about why we love to visit the Changi Airport. We visit the airport almost every fortnightly. I love the place simply because it is clean, convenient and fully air-conditioned. Daddy V likes it because of its lower parking rates. Little Edison is crazy about it because there are lots of enjoyable activities for him in the airport.

These are our favorite places to visit in the airport:

1. Children’s playground, located at Terminal 3, next to the water fountain at the B2 Mall.

2. Rub it from Scratch, located at Terminal 3, in front of the water fountain at the B2 Mall.

Little Edison enjoys rubbing crayons over a white paper placed over the embossed woodblock to create pictures. The crayons and white papers are provided by the airport.

3. Zone X Games Arcade

This is a new outlet located at Terminal 3 #B2-23. Little Edison loves the basketball game and the candy catcher machine.

4. Changi Aviation Gallery, located at Terminal 2, Level 3.

The gallery provides interesting insights about Changi Airport and the history of aviation in Singapore. Little Edison enjoys the close-up view of aircraft on the airport tarmac.

5. Kid’s Fun Ride at Terminal 3, Carpark 3A at Basement 2.

As compared to half a year ago, the visitors to Changi Airport have increased tremendously. Over the weekends, you can see many locals bringing their family to the airport for a stroll. The airport feels like a mega shopping mall with facilities for children.

If you are clueless on where to go this weekend, I’ll recommend that you bring your children to Changi Airport. They will surely love it! And you don’t have to worry about the wet weather condition.

Hi Shirley & Mico,
Yes, the airport is really a fun place. You should give it a visit one of these days. 🙂
