Cable Car and Underwater World

June 13, 2011January 30, 2019

We took cable car in Hong Kong and Malaysia, but this is our very first time taking a cable car in Singapore!

We read about the promotion on Cable Car and Underwater World in the newspaper, so we decided that this is a very good chance to experience the cable car ride to Sentosa. It’s only $25.90 per adult (usual price: $51.90).

We drove to Mount Faber, parked our car at the public car park and walked to the cable car station. It was a Saturday, but surprisingly, there wasn’t any crowd at the station. We bought our tickets and boarded the cable car within ten minutes.

The cable car cabin is spacious and clean with large panoramic windows that offer spectacular 360-degree views of Singapore city, harbour and Sentosa Island. I really like the cabin’s level walk-in concept. I can push our stroller onto the cabin very easily.

The ride to Sentosa Island is about ten minutes. We snapped some pictures of the harbour, cruise and Sentosa Island. However, our boy isn’t too impressed with the cable car and he spent the ten minutes playing iPhone games instead.

From the cable car station in Sentosa Island, we took the shuttle bus to Underwater World. The touch pool is Little Edison’s favourite. We watched the fur seal live show at the Dolphin Lagoon. Here are some pictures to share.

For your info, the Cable Car and Underwater World (inclusive of Dolphin Lagoon) promotion is ending on 26 June 2011. Click HERE for details. It’s almost half-price!

Have a splashing good time everyone!

Hi Jen,
You can go there again. Underwater World is a hit for kids. I’m sure your boy will love it. Edison loves the touch pool and the big aquarium, but he finds the seal show boring. Haha!

Hi Mico,
Usually, these attractions will have promotions during school holidays. It’s best to check on their websites before planning for a visit. Anyway, I’m sure you and your family have great fun there. That’s more important. 🙂
