9 Useful Singapore Websites for Home Renovation and Interior Design Ideas

This month, we’ve been busy researching on home renovation and interior design ideas. It’s a rough start, and with millions of photos available on the internet, it can get pretty confusing too. The more we look, the more confused we get. Even finding the theme for our new condo is as challenging as setting a foot on the moon due to our differences in opinion.

Moving into a new condo is always a positive and uplifting life experience. However, the renovation process may not always be so. More often than not, we need to compromise between more space or more storage, and functionality or aesthetics, due to space constraints in the shrinking condo unit sizes.

As a matter of fact, it’s wise to have a sensible designer to work with as we embark on our renovation process. A little more efforts to ensure that the unit is cleverly designed and planned for are certainly worthwhile.  Prior to meeting interior designers, here are some websites that we visit frequently for home renovation and interior design ideas.

I’d love to share these amazing websites with new home owners and readers like you. Hope you’ll like them too.

  2. Thank you, Emily for taking the time to provide the above list. It is pretty handy for new homeowners who might be looking for some design inspiration for their home. If you don’t mind adding 1 more site ( http://www.loftez.com/ ) to the above list, that will be great. Thanks

  3. Thank you Emily for sharing. I am sorry if I have posted my question in the wrong section. I wonder if you have any tips when it comes to choosing good quality tiles for swimming pools. The reason why I am asking is because I find your recommendation to be good and thus I would value your tips.

    1. Dear Terence,
I’m sorry that I’m unable to assist you on this as I’m not experienced in swimming pool tiles.

    1. Hi Ryan,
Thanks for your recommendation. I heard of Wihardja too. They have lots of nice furniture. I intend to buy a new set of outdoor lounge set from them too. 🙂

  6. I found an app called Nestr, and it is a pure Singapore app with lots of beautiful designs! It’s hard to come across a Singapore-made home design app and this app shows a lot of hdb and condo pics. I was surprised when they match me according to my design taste (somehow they know), and let me decide who I want to speak to.
