Sawadee kaaa! 😎 Today I’m going to share some of the highlights of our trip to Bangkok in Dec last year. Yeah, it has been a while and I was too lazy to blog about it. But again – if I don’t, I’ll end up forgetting about this trip. Hence, please read my version of interesting things to do in Bangkok with Kids. 😉
Bangkok is a VERY popular holiday destination for Singaporeans. In fact, I know some of you visit Bangkok every year (oh, lucky you!). Bangkok is not just about shopping. If you have kids, Bangkok also has an extensive array of family-friendly attractions that will surely provide your kids and entire family with a fun and memorable experience.
➡ Now, let’s check out our recommendations of 8 Interesting Places to Visit in Bangkok with Kids:
8 Places to Visit in Bangkok with Kids
1. SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World
When it comes to aquariums, we’re lucky to have S.E.A. Aquarium at Resorts World Sentosa. We visit the place frequently because Edison is a huge fan of aquariums. And since he loves them so much, we brought him to SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World and it was such an eye-opener! 😀
If you ask me which aquarium is bigger, I think the one at Resorts World Sentosa is bigger. However, SEA LIFE Bangkok Ocean World has its own unique features and the best thing about it is its location. It’s located at Siam Paragon Shopping Centre (same building as KidZania), easily accessible via BTS. This aquarium is specially made for the little ones, and the shark tank is our favourite!
We bought our tickets from Klook, and it’s SO much cheaper than buying directly. There are various options to choose from: Aquarium only, Aquarium with 4D Movie, Glass Bottom Boat, Photo or Aquarium + Madame Tussauds Admission Combo.
We spent about 3 hours here before we headed for lunch at Siam Paragon Food Hall. It’s huge – covering a good half of the mall’s ground floor, with a wide range of cheap and very delicious Thai food. Highly recommended!
How to Get There:
B1-B2 Floor, Siam Paragon, 991 Rama 1 Road, Pathumwan, Bangkok 10330 Thailand
Take Exit 5 from the BTS Siam Station, which provides direct access to Siam Paragon
