Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour Hello Kitty Themed Room

Jen’s Hello Kitty Themed Room comes in TWO room types: 1) Deluxe Room 33 sqm (10 rooms), and 2) Premier Room 53 sqm that’s perfect for big family (2 rooms).

The themed rooms come in THREE different Hello Kitty master themes: Pink, Sailor and Hello Kitty in Oz. Under each master theme, there are FOUR individual room design choices. This means ALL the 12 themed rooms in Hotel Jen are uniquely DIFFERENT!

Now, let’s take a peek at some of the themed rooms (images courtesy of Hotel Jen).

Hello Kitty Themed Room – PINK Theme

I’m sure they wowed you to no end! Who can resist such awesome cuteness!  😀

The moment we checked into the Admiral Redbow Room, Edison was SO thrilled with the charming nautical atmosphere in cool blue. The room comes complete with sweet Hello Kitty welcome amenities, specially embroidered Hello Kitty towels, bathrobes and slippers, as well as exclusive Hello Kitty stationary and Hotel Jen toiletries.

Other amenities in the room include: fastest WIFI, Press Reader app, Streaming Netflix for free, electronic safe, 40” LED TV, tea / coffee station, iron with board, fridge, executive writing desk, and hairdryer.

The room has an ultra comfortable king sized bed so the three of us can snuggle up together. It also has a sofa with a pull-out bed and a beautiful scenic view of the harbour. The bathroom is tastefully designed with Hello Kitty pictures and amenities, with shower head and rain shower systems.

We were SO impressed with the nautical-inspired details in the room. Edison cheekily asked why we couldn’t renovate his room like this one LOL.

We also noticed that the carpet leading to the Hello Kitty themed room is pink, and the room number displayed outside the room has a unique design too. Haha! <Spoiler alert!> So, if you see your room number, you’ll get the first hint on how your room will look like. And of course, you can expect a pink hotel key card and folder!

Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour

This was our second stay at Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour and our fifth stay with Hotel Jen. As always, we feel welcome and totally enjoy the friendly and fuss-free stay at Hotel Jen. The hotel’s excellent service starts from the very beginning. Our check-in process was smooth and the staffs are extremely helpful.

Hotel Jen Puteri Harbour is easily accessible from Singapore’s Tuas checkpoints (just 20-30 mins drive). And it’s located right next to SANRIO HELLO KITTY TOWN and Thomas Town. There’s a shuttle service to LEGOLAND MALAYSIA.

The hotel has 3 blocks that ran parallel with the shopping street underneath with total 283 guestrooms. Its lobby has a spacious seating area with secured handphone charging stations, welcome drinks, computer stations and kids play area.

We love that there are vending machines everywhere in the hotel that sell snacks and travel amenities. Just in case you left your handphone charging cable at home, fret not! Get one at the vending machine.

The rooftop infinity pool is certainly Edison’s favourite! There’s an adult lap pool, jacuzzi pool and kids pool. The hot sun didn’t stop him from having fun at the pool, and he proudly said that the tan is totally worth it LOL. I really love the stunning views of Puteri Harbour from the pool.

The hotel also has a fully-equipped fitness centre, rooftop garden, basement parking and 12-hour convenience stores. There are 4 restaurants and bars – On-the-Go, Lobby Lounge, Harbour Café and SkyBar, Bar & Restaurant.

We also checked-out their Club Lounge (sorry, no picture as there was a lot of guests during our visit) in the evening. The evening cocktail served from 5:30pm – 7:30pm was fantastic, but we tried not to eat too much as we’ve booked for the buffet dinner at 8pm.

Buffet Dinner at Harbour Café

To us, a hotel stay will never be complete without a buffet dinner. To make Our Little Smarties happy, our little tummies must be happy too. Haha!

Buffet Dinner at Harbour Café

The buffet dinner at Harbour Café starts from 6:30pm – 10:30pm, we went a little late at 8pm to allow our tummies to digest the cocktail first. The theme of the dinner buffet is “Jom Makan” – focusing on local cuisines in Malaysia. There’s also a wide variety of international cuisines such as Japanese sushi, Chinese and Western food.

This is our TOP favourite – Assam Pedas! It’s VERY appetizing and absolutely delicious. There are various types of fish for us to choose from the live cooking station. This is Chef Hanafiah and his creation of Assam Pedas (he didn’t know that his photo will be published here LOL).

I love spicy and sour food, so I had one big bowl all by myself! Yummy!

The other highlight is chilli crab ramen. I love chilli crab and ramen, but this is the first time I had them together. Wow! The tangy crab and flavourful chilli base are the best complement to the springy ramen. And it’s served hot from the live cooking station. Trust me, one bowl is NEVER enough. Hah!

As you know, Malaysia is well-known with curry. The chicken and lamb curry are absolutely aromatic and delicious. Among other dishes that we loved are Thai mussels, Chinese stir-fry dishes, TOO MUCH desserts and along with the new one – cendol bingsu.

After a sumptuous dinner, we took a stroll at the marina – just few walks away. There are various restaurants and bars here, the night atmosphere is nice and relaxing. We spotted this colourful “car ride” – it’s actually a 4-wheel bicycle car! At just RM30 for one ride (per car, not person), we quickly jumped onto one and cycled along the marina, admiring its peace and beauty.

It was VERY fun!
